Are you passionate about rural and remote health issues? If so, the Alliance invites you to become a Friend or Ally of the Alliance! Whether you’re an individual with lived experience or an organisation working on the ground, there’s a place for you in our community. Friends of the Alliance are individuals — health consumers, carers, and community members — who want to stay informed, connect with like-minded people, and have a voice in shaping national rural health policy. Allies of the Alliance are local, regional or state-based organisations that want to align with our mission, share their insights, and help drive positive change across rural and remote communities. By becoming a Friend or Ally, you’ll receive: Friends and Allies-only input to the Alliance’s policies and activities, through timely, targeted requests from the Council and staff team an invitation to join the discussions and sharing in the Friends and Allies Facebook Group Join Friends and Allies Facebook Group discounted invitations to Alliance professional development opportunities including the biennial National Rural Health Conference becoming a preferred contributor to Partyline complimentary subscription to the Australian Journal of Rural Health for individual members
