Limited Licence radiographers facilitate the performing of certain investigations in our smaller, more remote communities. They save time and money that would otherwise be spent transporting patients to larger centres for what are often only fairly minor investigations. We recommend the production and implementation of a National curriculum and National competency requirements for limited licence radiographers for quality assurance, as well as the implementation of legislation that is the same nationwide that dictates the legal scope of practice of these practitioners, to allow ease of practice for these workers all over Australia.
