14th NRHC Recommendation

Commonwealth government fund a range of key MBS items to enable Diabetes Education and clinical support services ( GP,Diabetes education , nurse practitioners , health workers and allied health ) to provide consumers in rural and remote country WA with equitable access to timely and quality care by December 2017 (there is enough evidence to dtrtermine a minimum standard of education and clinical care that can be equated to MBS dollars )

It would be great if rural remote isolated practice nurses could have privider numbers as they work in an advanced practice role with post graduate qualifications. This would make it easier and reduce cost to qld pathology services as it could be bulk billed to medicare
