Submissions should be written in plain language, centre people and communities, and explain why this matters for rural Australia.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Jost; font-size: 1.375em; font-weight: 600; letter-spacing: 0px;\">Guidelines&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Submissions should be <strong>up to 600 words<\/strong>, written in plain language, in a story format (narrative style) and avoid technical jargon. It should not include technical referencing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>We often receive reports, evaluations, or policy pieces. These will not be accepted unless they are reframed as community-focused stories, highlighting lived experience, outcomes, or lessons learned, preferably with quotes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Articles should be original, not previously published elsewhere, and free from promotional content.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Please include the author(s) names. Author headshots are optional but welcome.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Include relevant high-quality images (jpg, png, or tif format) with captions and credits to enhance the article &#8211; if purchased\/commercial\/stock images are used we will need evidence of purchase.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>We do not publish articles about research that has not begun, is looking for funding or is only partially completed.
